Inventions Needed: Treadmill Design Improvements 04 19 2011

Inventions Needed: Treadmill Design Improvements 04 19 2011

Whenever I get on a treadmill at a gym I don’t have enough to do. They need to make a treadmill that has a speed bag mounted on a platform to the front of the treadmill so that I can use my arms while I am running and develop coordination to hit the speedbag while running. They could even make one whereby the speedbag platform moves around a little bit.

Also the treadmill could have footprints painted on the conveyor belt so that I could develop more coordination by hitting those steps with my feet. At the very least a grid pattern could be printed on the conveyor belt in about 12”X 5” rectangles, to add a little variety to the exercise.

And lastly I do not like to watch the television when I run I just end up looking at the clock. The clock on the treadmill therefore needs to be placed at eyelevel and not lower than eye level as it is today.

I may not be able to get all my inventions patented but I can show to you and prove who thought of them first!

Invention: Leg Press Powered Bicycle 04 02 2011

Invention: Leg Press Powered Bicycle 04 02 2011

A bicycle that uses the same type of leg force as a leg press dose at an exercise club. A bicycle such as this could do more than sixty miles per hour.

Current leg energy is wasted by the circular movement of the peddles. This invention transmits the same force that the leg uses in a leg press machine into forward movement per full length of the leg stroke. This is a much stronger force than that of the peddling in a small diameter motion.

The bicycle would have to be recumbent or low to the ground and the wheels would have to be enclosed and vented per fore low and aft high. A refractory mirror could be employed so that the “Cycler” does not have to “crane” his/her neck to ride it, thereby the frame could be made more aerodynamic and low to the ground.

One can transmit a tremendous leg force as is done in the direction of the leg moves in a leg press or squat. If you think about it the average sized man can learn to squat over 200 lbs, because this is how our legs are designed to be used not in the small diameter motion. I don’t know what the record for the squat is but I have seen men leg pressing 12 plates, that is 540 lbs. There is tremendous potential to transform such force into forward momentum. Could speeds of 200 mph be reached some day? With assist mechanisms of power such as solar panel electric drive motors that is likelihood.

Moving the legs in the full forward stroke is also healthier for the leg muscles.

Golf Club Shaft Vibration Damper

Invention 04 02 2011

Golf Club Shaft Vibration Damper

This invention of mine is meant to decrease the shock to the wrists and hands from the force created when the club hits the golf ball. In essence it is made of a rubber, polyurethane or similar material that is able to reduce vibration. A collar is made of such material and placed at a point on the club shaft or more than one point. It would be of low profile construction and thereby close to the shaft.

We have all felt that jarring twang when we hit the ball and the club vibrates into our wrists. This can cause or worsen arthritis over time. This invention is designed to reduce the vibration to the hands by such gold ball hits by damping it, in effect absorbing it into the material and thereby dissipating it.

Background:

In it’s simplest form it could be thought of to be a section of discarded golf grip placed along the shaft between the club handle and the grip.

Fan for Your Underwear 04 02 2011

Invention Needed:

Fan for Your Underwear 04 02 2011

A silver dollar or coin sized fan that runs on a watch battery and is humidity activated. It has screening to protect you from the fan blades. And would fit in slots in your underwear. This invention would eliminate the moisture in your crotch that is the breeding ground for fungus and germs.

Of course you would have to have to learn and maintain habits regarding cleanliness for this area to start.

Our modern clothing is not ventilated in this area for those of us who are active. And contrary to what most people believe you can catch sickness from sitting in a chair were somebody’s germy butt sat. Your dirty butt is full of germs such as E-coli, etc. If you ever talk to someone and their breath smells like a toilet they have a Candida infection whereby they have not been active and do not have a health gastrointestinal tract. What this means is that germs that are meant to populate their lower intestinal track have populated their whole bodies. These types of people are usually in a fog of stupidity. If you talk to them and get a good whiff of this you are likely to get sick because your upper respiratory tract has not been accustomed to the germs that have broken through the resistance of theirs.

A humidistat would turn the fan on when the area got “moist” (don’t know what this would say about women) and dry the area to prevent the formation of fungus and the growth of other bacteria and germs that thrive in this warm moist environment. It would also stop the spread of hemorrhoids which are indeed a germ infection much like the gastric ulcer was found to be.

Automotive Invention to reduce the air friction drag created by tire treads 04 02 2011

Automotive Invention to reduce the air friction drag created by tire treads 04 02 2011

-Fore low and aft high vented wheel wells to direction of motion.

Wheel wells vented in this dynamic would reduce drag on the wheel caused by a chambered air in the wheel well that causes drag. This invention would reduce drag as the treads would indeed be more in harmony with the minute air friction created by the tire treads. If vents in the hood were located in front of the wheels and one vented to the lower front of the wheel and the other to the upper back of the wheel a paddlewheel of air force that increases with speed would reduce the non-dynamic friction of air created by the tire treads in effect having to paddlewheel air forward, this is drag against the direction of rotation.

Better mileage would be created if the wheels were vented in such manner. And there is plenty of space inside the fenders to do this.

A similar dynamic could be created with the real wheel wells.
